I found this link on Feministe a few days ago, and I thought it was very neat and worth sharing. It's a series of comic strips about the earthquake in China and some of the stories of the rescue efforts. They are incredibly heart-wrenching and sad, but I love the way the artist used this medium to represent these personal stories. But, very sad, so consider yourself forewarned.
